My deepest condolences to Adeline's daughters, family & friends, I worked with Adeline in 1988 as her assistant on a (best forgotten) film production in Boston. In recent years, I've followed her life in Florida via social media. Thanks for the memories Adeline and a long life well lived. <3 Paulette

I met Herbert and Adeline after moving to Florida when I assisted with preparing their tax return. They were a sweet couple and Adeline always had peanut butter cookies ready for me, she know how much I loved them. It was such a pleasure visiting and I enjoyed the stories they told and memoies they shared. Adeline showed me poems and songs Herbert wrote for her which were nicely written and she was so proud of Herbert and all he did for her. A beautiful woman who was always upbeat and had the nicest things to say. She wanted to meet my husband one day because Adeline said she wanted to meet the man who keeps me smiling everyday. Adeline lived a great life to the end and will be dearly missed. She was a gem whose positive attitude was infectious. She is now in heaven with Herbert her true love. Prayers to Nanette and other family members during this sad time. May God be with you.

I met Adeline in November of 1998 when I first joined the PGICA. At that time, she took on the responsibility of organizing and running the new member get together. It was not as elaborate as it is now but Adeline always made it work. It was Adeline who encouraged me to become more involved in the PGICA and because of her, I joined the "Civettes" and stayed a member for a number of years. Because of Adeline, I also began displaying my craft in the PGICA's gift shop which at that time, had no official name. After "Charley" blew down the building on Marion Ave and we eventually moved to the newer one on Shreve, Adeline helped up in obtaining a new room for the newer "Gifted Gator" gift shop that I helped run until it's closing. Adeline was always free with her hugs. Whenever I saw her, she'd always hug me and say, "Donnie, it's so good to see you. How are you?" Even when she began using her walker, she asked how "I" was. That was Adeline. I just regret that because of my schedule, I hadn't been able to spend more time with this wonderful woman. I know she'll be truly missed.

Nan, please accept my condolences on the passing of your Mom. I am sure she passed knowing how much she was loved. Adeline was always a wonderful presence at the Fresh Jersey Tomatoes dinners. I picture her now dancing up a storm in heaven.

Nan We first met Adeline in 2010 when we bought our home in Punta Gorda. She greeted us with cookies and a big smile, a memory we will always cherish. She was such a warm and welcoming neighbor, and she will be deeply missed.

I met Adeline when I was the Executive Director of Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association. She was so welcoming to me when I took that position. She was encouraging, warm-hearted and had a great sense of humor. She loved her daughter so much and was so proud of her. That will never end.
