ALBERTHA J. “COOKY” AMATO, 66, of North Port, Florida died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Tidewell Hospice, Port Charlotte.
She was born August 29, 1945 in San Fernando, California and moved to Florida from Reno, Nevada in 1966. Cooky was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Survived by her loving family, husband of 31 years, Carmen J. Amato of North Port; three daughters, Kelly (Patrick Callan) Harris of North Port, Tammy (Bruce) Johnson of Mosheim, TN and Kimberly (Marc) Delp of Port Charlotte; a brother, Jerry Johnson of South Lake Tahoe, CA; 7 grandchildren, Brandon Barrington, Jason Barrington, Ariel Felts, Jaceb Johnson, Kelsey Delp, Aaron and Cody Harris; 4 great grandchildren, Kaden Dixson, Vianna Barrington, Zackery Barrington and Annabelle Barrington;
Graveside services and interment will be held Wednesday 2:00 PM, June 27 , 2012 at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, Florida.
