Alberto “Tito” Vega, Jr., age 59, a native and resident of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Bayfront Health of Port Charlotte, Florida.
Alberto was born in Fort Myers, Florida on Sunday, August 27, 1961 to the late Alberto and Juana (nee- Sánchez) Vega. Alberto was a plant technician for Inframark’s Waste Water Treatment Plant in Fort Myers.
Alberto is survived by his children, Monica (Spouse Jeremy) Harris of Colorado Springs, CO, Cassandra Vega of Fort Myers, FL, and Reynaldo Vega also of Fort Myers, FL, Titayana Vega, Jhaquan Vega, Najaynae Vega, and Sarah Gardner; four grandchildren, Ariana Harris, Gabriella Vega, Mia Harris, and Josiah Vega; his fiancé Tonja Brooks of Port Charlotte, FL; a brother, Carlos Vega, and several nieces. In addition to his parents, Alberto was predeceased by a brother Oldolio Sánchez.
Visitation and services will be held this coming Friday, April 30, 2021 at Roberson Funeral Homes, 2151 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte, Florida. Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 6 pm, and services celebrating Alberto’s life will begin at 6 pm. In compliance with suggested guidelines to help prevent the further spread of Covid-19 and protect our most vulnerable and at-risk individuals, we are limiting chapel capacity and ask anyone in attendance to please be respectful of others and observe social distancing and wear a personal protective mask. In accord with Alberto’s wishes, following his cremation, a private committal will be held.
