ALICIA ROBLES, 66, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Friday, August 6, 2010 at
Tidewell Hospice, Inc., Port Charlotte.
She was born May 2, 1944 in Manati, Puerto Rico and moved to Port Charlotte
in 2004 from Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. She was a retired registered nurse and
attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Alicia was a member of the Easy
Does Club, Port Charlotte Chapter of A.A.
She is survived by her loving companion, Natalie Shapiro of Port Charlotte;
a daughter, Jill (Dan) Valese of Livingston, NJ; two sisters, Elia (John) Colon of Port
Charlotte and Carmin (Evin) Robles of Manati, Puerto Rico; three brothers, Jay (Haydee)
of Port Charlotte, Tommy (Diana) Robles of Bronx, NY and Richard (Mercedes) Robles of
Mt. Vernon, NY; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, and all her
friends at A.A.
Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, August 8, 2010 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel with a Catholic Wake Service at 6:30 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be held Bronx, NY.
