Angelo was born to Vincent and Frances Giampa on June 21, 1929 in California, PA and moved to Port Charlotte in 1984 from Charlotte, NC. He was a WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. Angelo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be remembered dearly by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Giampa of Port Charlotte; 2 sons, Mike (Patricia) Giampa of Sitka, AK and Vince (Linda) Giampa of Apollo Beach, FL; a sister, Anna Mae Remington of Cleveland, OH; 4 grandchildren, Anthony, Katherine Anne, David and Jim; his sister and brother in laws, John and Anna Marie Ebbitt of West Mifflin, PA and his close buddy, his daughter’s dog, Jamie. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa.
Visitation will be held 11:00AM-12:00PM with a Scripture Service to follow at Noon on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
Friends may visit at www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
