Ann C. Chapleau, 98, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at Port Charlotte Rehabilitation Center.

Ann was born to Joseph and Cecilia Kehoe on January 18, 1918 in Staten Island, New York. Ann retired from Perkins Elmer Corporation in 1986. She was a woman who worked hard but also enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Sue (Wayne) Sellars of Port Charlotte; her son, Michael (Diana) Chapleau of New Fairfield, CT; a son in law, John Bonacci of New Fairfield, CT; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Eileen, Christopher, Michael and Annie and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank and her daughter, Deborah.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Connecticut.

We are so sorry to hear of Grandma Chapleau's death.what a great woman she was! She was like an aunt to me and our children were crazy about her. She was sassy lady! Our kids used to remark how cool she was because she was a grandma who wore clogs. I'm sure she is at peace with Chappy and Debbie. Treasure your memories of her. We surely will.
