Born in New Haven, Connecticut on a Monday, March 15, 1945, Annette was one of three children born to Vincent and Anna Sicignano. Following graduation from high school, Annette attended Southern Connecticut State University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree. She went on to dedicate the next 30 years of her life to a career with the State of Connecticut as an Adjudicator. During this period in her life, she met and on August 19, 1967, married the love of her life, Edward L. Diana. Together, they had two sons, Edward Jr., and Vincent.
Following their mutual retirements, the couple moved to Charlotte County, Florida. They became active members of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, and Annette joined the San Antonio Church Women’s Guild of which she is a Past President, and the San Antonio Church Choir. Annette had returned to work doing contract sales for the Sun Newspaper and had joined the Bunka Club. She was also a past member of the Charlotte County Cultural Center, active volunteer with the Heritage Lake Park Landscape Committee, and Marketing Assistant for the Goldtones’ Vocal group.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Edward; their sons, Edward Jr. and his wife, Bethany, both of State College, PA, and Vincent Diana, of Punta Gorda, FL; and her sister, Maryanne Ferrara of Branford, CT. Annette was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Anna, and her brother Joseph Sicignano.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested in Annette’s name to the San Antonio Catholic Church CFA Fund.
