Anthony “Tony” Leone, age 88, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away peacefully with the comfort of his family by his side on our nations birthday, Monday, July 4th, 2022 in Port Charlotte.

Born on Thursday, October 19, 1933, to the late Salvatore and Bertha Leone in Queens, New York, Anthony, a U.S. Army veteran, and retired United Postal Service driver, moved to Port Charlotte, Florida from Long Island, New York in 1989 with his beloved wife of 55 years, Elaine B. Leone, where they enjoyed many years together until her passing in November of 2011.

Anthony is survived by his loving daughter Debra A. Misuraca; two grandsons, John and T.J. Misuraca; three great grandchildren, Natalya, Grant Santo Bullis-Misuraca and Kai Lana Bullis-Misuraca; and numerous extended family members.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 PM on Friday, July 8th, 2022 at Roberson Funeral Homes, Port Charlotte Chapel, and will conclude with Military Honors by the United States Army.  A private committal for Tony & Elaine will be held at a later date.
