Anthony Michael Tannuzzi, 78, of Punta Gorda Passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at his residence in Punta Gorda(Deep Creek). He was born October 14, 1929
In Cambridge, Massachusetts and moved to Port Charlotte 18 years ago from Lake
Ronkonkoma, New York. Anthony was a retired detective with New York City Police Dept. and was in the Army Reserves. He was a member and long time usher at San Antonio Catholic Church and a member of the San Antonio Knights of Columbus Council #12456 of Port Charlotte.

Survived by his loving wife of 55 yrs. Margaret Tannuzzi of Punta Gorda;
Two daughters, Vicki Tannuzzi of Port Charlotte and Joann Burke of Coral Springs, FL;
Two Sons, Anthony Michael (Wife-Susan) Tannuzzi of Bridgewater, NJ and Daniel (Wife-Annmarie) Tannuzzi Coconut Grove, FL., 13 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM
Monday October 6, 2008 at San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
