As Dad,Debbie and I sat at your bedside holding your hand and my sister singing Somewhere over the Rainbow and Amazing Grace to you during your last moments it reminded me of a time when you and Dad first moved to Florida. I was in the hospital after having surgery and you and Dad came to visit. I was in pain and the nurses rolled me onto my side to help ease the pain and you took your hands and rubbed my back. I still can feel your touch and I pray that in your last moments that you could still feel ours. I will miss you Mom. Rest in Peace. I love you. Carol Ann

You always reminded me to take my Vitamins , you made me eat my vegetables as a kid when I didn't want to , you entertained me as a young boy with Music from Mary Poppins and the like - memories I take with me always . This gives me moments of sadness , but also moments to reflect on the passage of time . Her life was full of honesty ,goodness ,humility ,charity and giving , and love of Family . May those lessons be an inspiration for us family members you leave behind on this earth . May God look after my GrandFather who at 97 , carries on after those 71 years years of a devoted married life . Rest in Peace ,,,

My condolences to the family. I have many fond memoeries of Ann. She was always kind to me even when circimstances were diffiicult. I remember when I first realized it was a serious goal of hers to live a long and healthy life. One day when I went to visit she expalined that she had calculated that if she walked back and forth from the front door of the house to the back room 175 times it equaled a mile. Something she and Tom were doing on a regular basis. Well I guess it worked. 99 years on this earth. Good for her.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

At 13 years of age Ann became a second mother to me due to our mother's illness and I adored her. She attended CCNY for a year before going to nursing school. Ann and Betty were the first imigrant women to get an education in our neighborhood and were envied by many. My parents were very proud of her. At her birth my mother prayed that she would be a nurse some day. Her first job at Wingdale, NY during the depression years, she was a supervisor of a mental hospital. She sent half her salary every month and very often sent her whole salary, to help pay rent and to feed the family. Ill at my first child birth, the doctors wanted me to be at a sanitorium where the baby and I would be well taken care of for 5 or 6 months. Confused and ill I said no, and told them my sister Ann would take care of us. This put a big burden on Ann and Tom. I never asked Ann but she knew what I went through and loved me very much and she and Tom opened their home to us for 6 months. I'll never forget that. My children all loved her because she was kind and thoughtful to them. Throughout the years ,she would always send me articles on Health and Psychology and about raising a family. She will always be in my heart until the day I die. Love, Gloria, Al and Family
