Born Audrey E. Van Swearingen, on July 30, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Robert and Theresa Van Swearingen, Audrey, a working mother, raised two sons with her husband Alfred, and retired to Englewood in 2001 from their longtime home of Hammond, Indiana. Audrey was of the Roman Catholic faith.
She is survived by her beloved husband of more than 45 years, Alfred E. Sheick; her sons Ronald and Kenneth Sheick, both of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Kaitlin, Theresa, Kansas, and Levi Sheick; a great grandson, Wrangler Sheick, and numerous extended family members. In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Van Swearingen.
