Bessie Irene Bules, 91, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on July 14, 2023.

Bessie was born November 1, 1931, in Warsaw, Indiana, and moved to Punta Gorda in 1963 with her loving husband, John Bules, and two oldest daughters. She was a stay-at-home wife, where she raised her four daughters and grandchildren. She loved to garden, crochet, assemble puzzles, and caring for children. Bessie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who met her. She loved her family more than anything in this world.

She is survived by her three daughters, Joy (Patrick) Turcotte of Punta Gorda, Judy Siemer of Cape Coral, and Connie Bules of Punta Gorda; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her husband, John Bules, daughter, Nancy Goff, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter preceded her in death.

There will be a private graveside service Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Charlotte Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, and a celebration of life gathering will follow at the Ridge Harbor Clubhouse at 30337 Cedar Rd., Punta Gorda, FL. 33982.
