Mrs. Betty Brown Taylor, 96, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Grand Haven and New Lothrop, Michigan, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Betty was born on June 3, 1913 in Ludington, Michigan to the late Sen. Daniel and Alberta(nee – Brown) Tufts. Betty moved to Port Charlotte from her native Michigan in 1968 with her husband Milford Louis Taylor, and was a member of First Baptist Church of El Jobean, Florida. Betty was a loving mother of six, a great, great grandmother and aunt.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Milford in 1998, and is survived by her 6 loving children; daughters Nancy A. Kreinbrink of Port Charlotte, Exie McKone of Morrice, MI and Beverly Kay Bell of Wauseon, OH; sons Daniel A. Taylor of New Lothrop, MI, David Taylor of Flint, MI and Mark Taylor of Gaylord, MI; 2 sisters, Mary Carskadon of Fruit Port, MI and Katie Koval of Grand Haven, MI; numerous grand, great grand and great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
