Mr. Billie Gene Allen, 75, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 in Port Charlotte.

Billie was born on December 4, 1934 in Norwood, Missouri. A U.S. Army veteran, Korean War, and retired analyst for the U.S. Navy Department in Washington DC, Billie moved from Alexandria, Virginia to Port Charlotte in 1985. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Port Charlotte, Past President of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5399 of Port Charlotte.

Billie will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Lucy; three daughters, Tracy Cox of San Diego, CA; Holly Ferreira of California, MD; and Juliana Bozinovic of Port Charlotte, FL; ten grandchildren, Tyler, Adam, and Lindsey Cox all of San Diego, CA; Danielle Paul of Las Vegas, NV; Lauren, Jake, and Rachelle Ferreira of California, MD; Sarah, Noah, and Nicholas Bozinovic all of Port Charlotte, FL; one brother, Jim Allen of San Jose, Ca; four sisters, Jeanette Martin of Grants Pass, OR; Ruth Musante of Salem, OR; Kay Vance of Slidell, LA; and Loretta Adank of West Fork, AR; mother-in-law Helen Simonis, and, sister-in-law, Sister Judy Simonis both of Port Charlotte.
