Bobby L. Lawhorn, 73, of Punta Gorda, Florida, died Friday, November 9, 2007 in Punta Gorda.
Bobby was born January 11, 1934 in Bedford County, Virginia to the late Julian and Dovie (nee Gross) Lawhorn. A veteran of the Korean War, United States Air Force, Bobby, a longtime business entrepreneur, moved to Punta Gorda from Lovetsville, Virginia in 1992. He was a member of the Peace River Baptist Church in Punta Gorda, active member of Senior Softball League, the PGI Cruising Club; member and Past Potentate (1981) of Kena Shrine Temple in Fairfax, VA, member and Past Ponce of the Conquistadors of Charlotte County, B.P.O. Elks, Director of Royal Order of Jesters Court (1988) in Alexandria, VA, Life time member of Kena Motor Corp of Fairfax, VA, and Past Director of Kena Temple Motor Corp.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 24 years, Joanne A. Lawhorn, and his 3 daughters and 1 son, Ann Davidson of FL, Randy Lawhorn of VA, Belinda Sforza of FL, and Pam Burke of AK; 2 brothers, Ray Ash of VA and Tom Lawhorn of TN, and 11 grandchildren.
