Carol Ann Williams, 68, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at her Port Charlotte residence.
Carol was born on July 24, 1955, at Victoria Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica to Charles Fraser and Rev. Marie L. Fraser. Together the Frasers’ had six living children, Sonia Stewart, Carol Williams, Arlene Fraser, Sharon Fraser, Senora Fraser, and Gregory Fraser.
In 1972, in Norwalk, Connecticut, Carol met Uriel L. Williams at a friends house. They fell in love and were married when she was just 19 years old, on November 30, 1974. That union created three new souls. Edwin Alfanso Williams, Dennise Monique Williams, and Nicole Alechia Williams. A step son Leon Williams, was already a part of their family. In 1989, the family moved to Port Charlotte, Florida, were they continued 49 years of marriage. Carol retired as a certified nursing assistant from the Douglas T. Jacobsen State Veterans Nursing Home in Port Charlotte. She provided care for others for over 40 years.
Carol Ann Williams touched the lives of so many people. To know her was to love her. She was a strong Christian woman who only saw the good in others. On October 12, 2023, God called his loving angel home to continue to do his good works in the kingdom of heaven. Carol’s legacy lives on through her loved ones. Her loving mother Marie L. Fraser and her five siblings. She leaves behind six loving grandchildren, Jada Imani, Aakaysha Williams, Kaysen Nashawn Williams, Shiloh Nevah Williams, Rony Charles Dorvil, Jr, and Martin Elizjah Dorvil.
She was a beautiful soul, well loved. She will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel located at 2151 Tamiami Trail. Funeral services followed by burial will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, beginning with funeral at 1:00 PM at the Port Charlotte Global Methodist Church located at 21075 Quesada Avenue in Port Charlotte, with committal and burial at Restlawn Memorial Gardens cemetery located at 1380 Forrest Nelson Blvd in Port Charlotte, where she will be laid to rest.
