Carol Anne Dodge, 72, Of Port Charlotte, Florida died at Shore Point Health in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Carol was a native of Florida. She was a  kidney transplant recipient in 1979 and  it never slowed her down. Carol and her husband James ran a successful hydraulic repair business in Las Vegas Nevada. When their business sold, they then started their next chapter as retirees in Florida to be closer to family. Carol loved to read, and travel with James in their RV camper. James and Carol enjoyed going to the drag races across the US. She loved and was very dedicated to her family, and nothing was more important than their well-being. She is missed and cherished, and loved by all that knew her.

Survived by Husband James Dodge of 39 years, two sisters: Debbie Carter and Brenda Anglin, Four brothers: Clarence Thornton, Michael Thornton, Phillip Thornton, and Robert Dodge; two children, James Dodge(Monda) and Jamie Branson(Jimmy); seven grandchildren and many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nephews, and Cousins.
