Carol Jean (Lowe) Urquhart, 78, of Palm Harbor, Florida. After a recurrence of lung cancer, Carol passed away peacefully at the home of her youngest daughter Melissa on Thursday, June 15, 2023.

Carol was born in Chicago, IL on April 10, 1945 to Ernest and Irene (Stobbe) Lowe and her older sister and soon to be forever best friend Patricia. She married Jeffrey Urquhart on September 28, 1968. They started their family, and she enjoyed raising their three children. She was an avid crafter, the perpetual volunteer mom, hot dog day mom, Girl Scout leader and quintessential Christmas elf for 20 years before they decided to move to warmer weather in Palm Harbor, Florida in July 1989. Carol was a wonderful mother, Sister and grandmother and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by a sister Patricia (Lowe) Zellner of Largo, her three children; Timothy (Teresa) Urquhart of Willowbrook, IL, Debbie (Andy) Albritton of Sebring, Melissa (Andrew) Greenbaum of North Port and six grandchildren; Sarah (Shane), Chris, Lindsay, Ethan, Emily and Allie.

A joint graveside service will be held for our beloved parents on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 12:30PM at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
