CAROL D. KLEIN, 64, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte.

She was born January 3, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1983 from Huntington, L.I., New York. Carol was a pediatric registered
nurse and graduated from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY. She worked at Staten
Island Hospital and also at St. Joseph Hospital in Port Charlotte which is now Peace
River Regional Medical Center. Carol was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran
Church of Port Charlotte where she was an active member of the church choir and was a quilt making volunteer for Lutheran World Relief.

She is survived by her loving family, a son, Jeffrey P. Klein of Port Charlotte;
Her parents, George A. & Winifred E. Berger of Port Charlotte.
