Carolyn was born June 3, 1940 in Presque Isle, Maine to Raymond Harris, Sr.. and Phyllis (Wood) Harris. Carolyn moved to North Port in 1987 from Cheshire, Connecticut. She retired from Edwards Food Warehouse and after moving to Florida she helped cleaned homes and they became a part of her extended family. Many of them she knew for over 20 years and she loved them as they did her. She was a woman who loved her friends and family. She enjoyed music, dancing, flowers, walking, exercising, and the great outdoors in particular camping. She enjoyed going to the beach and loved going on cruises with her friends that left her with many fond memories and good times. She was an individual who loved life to the fullest and will be missed by all who loved and knew her. She was a wonderful, loving, caring, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother (Awesome Nana), and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved friend Paul; her loving daughter, Lisa (Jim, The best son in law in the whole wide world) Hogaboom of Port Charlotte, FL; a son, Wilson F. Cloukey ( close companion, Donna Ryan )of Avon, CT; a brother, Raymond (Laurie) Harris, Jr. of Presque Isle, ME; 5 grandchildren, Jayson (Rebecca) and James Hogaboom, II; Ryan (Joy), Kyle and Alyse Cloukey and their loving mother, Sonja Tomczak; 3 great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jordan and Alexis and another great grandson due in January to Ryan and Joy Cloukey; 4 nephews, Marty, Mitchell (Deanna), Matthew and Merrill; and several aunts and uncles and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Sr. and Phyllis Harris and other family members. Forever in our hearts we will always remember her smile and her love to Dance, Dance, and Dance.
