Catherine (Katie) F. Schwartz, 69, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died Monday, May 3, 2010.

Catherine was born October 15, 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A resident of Port Charlotte since 1981, Catherine, a loving and very much beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.

Catherine is survived by her beloved husband George M. Schwartz, Sr. and five children; sons, Donald (wife Cheryl) M. Schwartz, Sr., and George (wife Liz) M. Schwartz, Jr.; and daughters, Beverly (husband Brian) Wilkie, Patricia (husband Randy) Cole, and Sandi (husband Mike) Schwartz-Marques; 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters; brothers, George and Joe; and sisters, Julie, Susie, Rosie, and Lois.
