Born on June 22, 1918 in Jamaica, West Indies, Charles, a retired machinist, lived in Hartford, Connecticut until relocating to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1983. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Port Charlotte.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Beryl Jackson of Port Charlotte; three sons, Aden Jackson of San Ramon, CA, Kingsley Jackson of Port Charlotte, FL, and Adrian Jackson of Punta Gorda, FL; three daughters, Carol Jackson of Port Charlotte, FL, Marcia Brown of Bloomfield, CT, and Cecilia Jackson of Tampa, FL; one sister, Eulalee Miller of Ontario, Canada, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Hylton and Amanda Jackson, and 5 brothers.
