He was born July 19, 1918 in Akron, Ohio and moved to Port Charlotte in 1981 from Akron. H e was a veteran of World War W II serving in the U.S. Army. Charles retired from East Ohio Gas Company where he was a manager. Member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed very much.
Survived by three daughters, Marianne (Fred) Martone of West Palm Beach, FL.
Barbara (Edwin) McHenry of Port Charlotte, Linda(Bill) Goede of Akron; two sons, Jon(Judy) Lepley of Port Charlotte and Robert (Brenda) Lepley of North Port; a brother,Paul Lepley of Akron, OH; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lucille Lepley.
A memorial mass will held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at a later date. Interment will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Memorial Garden
