Chris was a friend, mentor, and colleague of mine. Chris always had a good spirit even through some of the trials and tribulations while working through tough problems. Chris and I shared common ground both in personal and professional endeavors. Being able to stay in touch with him over the last few years was a blessing. He taught me a lot and guided me in a direction to expand my knowledge base and provided advice. I will always be grateful to have crossed paths with him. We pray your family finds peace and will find hope in the reuniting with him again sometime. He will be missed.

Hi everyone, I'm sorry for your loss; I worked with Chris for many years at ITT/Exelis/Harris in Fort Wayne, and played poker with him about once a month until Covid hit. I think it was during our poker hiatus due to Covid that he became too ill to join in but he faithfully kept in contact up until the end. He was good about keeping in touch (better than me) and I enjoyed his recounting of whom he had seen or talked to. He was also always happy to hear of news from his Fort Wayne friends & colleagues. I was a fortunate beneficiary of a workbench and dust collector system from his shop when he moved south, and I always think of Chris when I'm in my own shop and using his gear. Chris was a dedicated and successful engineer and able to manage people and technical projects. I never met any of his family but I did meet Winnie numerous times. Chris loved his family members and his li'l dog...

My deepest condolences. Chris was one of my favorite people to work with at L3Harris. We bonded over our obsessions for our Porsches! He was not only a great person to work with but a dear friend. We tried to touch base a few times a year once he retired but time got away from us. I’m so sad to hear of his passing but I know he truly fought so hard to live he was a true fighter. God Bless to his family and RIP dear friend!
