Don was born September 7, 1930 in Saint Charles County, Missouri to the late Clarence E. and Ella Dickherber. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he moved from St. Louis with his wife Louise, to Punta Gorda in 1986.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Louise R. Dickherber; one daughter, Donna (Gary) Petri, and son, Daniel P. (Susan) Dickherber; one sister, Marilyn Sullivan; five granddaughters, two nieces and two nephews.
