Cornell George Taylor, 63, of Port Charlotte, Florida died at his home on October 14, 2023.
Cornell was born in Fort Myers, Florida to parents, Georgene J., and William A. Taylor on December 18, 1959.
Cornell Taylor was a loving, loyal, and beyond helpful father, husband, brother, and friend to many. Honest, hardworking, clever, capable, and always learning. He was a master at solving any and all problems related to mechanics, carpentry, landscaping, electrical, and all issues related to construction. He would help as many as he could with these skills. His favorite hobby was fishing, so much so, he and his bother earned a series of small lakes in the coastal Everglades the name; “Taylor lakes” on the map, by being the first few to navigate it. Cutting their way into one of the most remote areas of the everglades to catch big fish that had never seen a lure. If he did anything best of all the things he knew, it was having a big soft heart and being a great father and mentor to his son Tobias Taylor. May he rest peacefully, watching over those he loved the most, until they can meet him again. Cornell will be missed greatly.
