Daphne was born in Jamaica and moved to Port Charlotte 20 years ago from Queens, New York. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church for many years. She was a great woman who was treasured by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her family, a daughter, Caroll J. Delgado of Queens, NY; 4 brothers, Uriel and Roy McDonnough of Jamaica, Lionel McDonnough of Orlando, FL and George McDonnough of Queens, NY; a grandson, Dave Delgado of Charlotte, NC; 2 granddaughters, Donna Delgado of Atlanta, GA and Victoria Delgado of Worchester, MA; and 2 great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Samantha.
