He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kim Gaut; 3 daughters, Mandy L. Musso of Port Charlotte, Shannon R. Hughes of Lehigh Acres, FL and Samantha M. Green of Fort Leonard wood, MO; a sister, Diana Faust of Portland, OR and 4 grandchildren, Peyton, Kiley, Luckas and James David.

My heart goes out to all of you at this very sad time. David's unexpected and tragic death has been a shock to all of us. My dad, Petsen Hank, recently told me that boy really meant a lot to me. We always had a lot of fun. Of course, my parents have always talked lovingly about all of you and I am grateful I was able to see all of you at Sammy's wedding.
