David was born October 15, 1966 in Buffalo, New York, to Salvatore and Jane Leone. A retired Police Officer for the Buffalo, New York Municipal Housing Authority, David moved to Port Charlotte from his native Buffalo with his wife and daughter in 2002. David, a loving and much beloved husband, father, son, and brother, was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte, member of the UAW, and former Coach for the Miss Charlotte Fast Pitch League.
He is survived by his beloved wife of more than 11 years, Melissa L. Leone, and daughter Lisa Rose Leone, both of Port Charlotte; parents Salvatore (Sam) and Jane Leone and brothers, Craig and Patrick (wife Shana) Leone, all of Buffalo, NY; father and mother in-law, Stanley and Eleanor Sulinski of Port Charlotte, FL, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
