As a fellow NW pilot just starting my career,…I remember David as the sweetest and kindest landlord, mentor and friend. We rented a “twin-home” from David and Cathy from ‘90 to ‘95. David always brought us chocolate covered toffee as a Christmas gift before the holidays. Sweet memories. Rest in peace my friend.

My condolences to David’s Family, and my accolades for David pointing me in the direction of the Line Check group. David was always available to keep me pointed in the right direction. Safe travels David as we all travel westward towards the setting sun.

David was a good brother to me. Several times he helped me out when I was a single mom of two boys under six. One time he helped me unclog a toilet of a little boy's T shirt...(I still don't know why it was flushed!) And another time I called David in tears after I pounded a nail into the garage wall to hang a rake - and hit the wiring inside the wall. He came right over and fixed it for me. And the best part is he didn't make me feel stupid for doing it. I'm guessing he's now God's #1 repairman!

Dave and I first met nine years ago at the dog park in punta gorda. The friendship was immediate. We shared a lot of common interests. He never ceased to amaze me with his many, many talents. In fact, he was one of the most memorable, honest and kind men I've ever known. All of us at the park always enjoyed him when he and Cathy came for the season, as he was a breath of fresh air. To say he will be missed is an understatement.

I came to know David at NWA and found him to be an excellent instructor, outstanding B747 program manager and friend. I will miss seeing him up north and getting together to discuss "the old days". Rest in peace my friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My brother David was, indeed everything mentioned in his obituary: generous with his time and talents (and his tools! He loaned a few to Paul when we were remodeling!) skillful, interested in so many different things, and always interesting to talk with. And for certain he was a "foodie" - he and Cathy had Paul and me over for many delicious meals! I miss him already...
