Dean A. Baldwin, age 56, of North Port, Florida, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 following a long battle with Lung Cancer at Bayfront Health in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Dean was born on December 12, 1963 in York, Pennsylvania to Vernon A. and Joyce C. Baldwin.  Dean, a veteran of the United States Navy and former longtime member of the Army National Guard, married Toni L. Bingham in 2001, and together they moved from Box Springs, Georgia to North Port, Florida in 2011.  While a resident of Box Springs, Dean volunteered his spare time to the community as a volunteer firefighter with the local Oakland Volunteer Fire Department, and held the rank of Captain.  Following their relocation to North Port, Dean worked throughout his time in the community for Jessup’s Major Appliance Center in Venice, Florida.
Dean is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 19 years, Toni Baldwin; children, son Shaun Parker of Norwich, CT, daughter Jennifer Sanders of North Port, FL, and five grandchildren, Timothy Sanders, Zachary Sanders, Alyssa Smith, Marcella Parker, and David Parker; his parents Vernon and Joyce Baldwin of Dallas Town, PA; a brother, Tony Baldwin also of PA, two nieces and many extended family members.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2020 from 11am. to  start of Chapel Funeral Service at 12 Noon at Roberson Funeral Homes, 2151 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. Burial with Military Honors by the U.S. Navy will follow at 2pm. at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
