Debbie Ann Wood, 63, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her Port Charlotte residence.

Debbie, or Deb to family and affectionately known as “Woody” to many, was born on March 21, 1960, in Pennsylvania, one of six children to Harry T. and Carol Wood.  She had married at a young age and had a son and daughter.  Eventually Deb met and married Bruce Kreps, and both relocated to Southwest Florida.  Through the years, Deb worked as a waitress, a bartender, and more recently as a Publix Associate in the Publix Super Market located at Bayshore Village in Port Charlotte.  She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, mother and children.

While she was preceded in death by her father Harry, a sister Lori, and brother Bob “Bobby”, she is survived by her beloved husband Bruce, her mother, Carol Wood, a sister, Bonnie Wood, two brothers Scott Mullen and Jimmy Mullen; her children, daughter Breeze Gonzalez, and son Casey Gonzalez; a grandson, Jay, and many extended family members and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Deb’s life will be held for her at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel located at 2151 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte.
