Mrs. Deborah A. Seter, 58, resident of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the TideWell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida.
She was born August 30, 1952 in Delavan, Wisconsin to Richard and Delores Olson. A Systems Engineer for IBM and longtime resident of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Deborah and her husband Miles, moved from Pewaukee to Punta Gorda in 2000. A talented artist, Deborah became an active member of the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda. After being diagnosed with cancer, she wrote a book about her experiences with Cancer, donating the proceeds to the Cancer Society.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Miles A. Seter; her mother, Delores H. Olson; sisters, Linda (Russell) Jansen, Christine (John) Boviall, and Laurie (Morey) Adams; brothers, Richard (Jadzia) Olson, and Christopher (Susan) Olson; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Richard D. Olson.
