Diane Mona. (Turmel) Gianatasio, 72, passed away in Port Charlotte, Florida On March 31, 2026.

Diane was a nurse most of her life and she loved every minute of her career. When she retired, she moved to Florida to live in peace and happiness with her family and many friends she made along the way. She was a wonderful mother, wife, cousin, niece and friend to everyone who knew and loved her.

Diane had a bright smile that could make you smile back. Her passing was sudden and unexpected, and she will be truly and deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Diane leaves behind her husband Kevin S. Gianatasio, her son Robert J. L’Heureux and her stepdaughter Ruth Gianatasio, all of Punta Gorda FL. She was predeceased by her daughter Kristen Marynicz who passed in 2007 from Nashua NH, her husband Glenn Gianatasio who passed in 2016, Punta Gorda FL, her brother Robert J. Turmel, her mother Shirley Labbe of Malden, MA, and her father Joseph R. Turmel of Berlin, NH.

The family is holding an hour viewing from 2PM to 3PM at the Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory, 215 Mary Street, Punta Gorda Florida 33950. All are welcome to attend.
