My Sister Dianne was like a second mother, she cared for my brother and me. She was very kind to take time, patience and lessons on how to tie my shoes. She was a diligent work and part of our family of five as we all worked in my parents grocery story, gas station in Fair Haven, Vermont. If Smiles were measured with money, Dianne would be a multimillionaire. Thank you for caring and loving your pesky little brother. Thank you Lord Jesus for the memories.

Dianne, my mothers nurse during my mothers last days, became part of our family then when she met my brother. She was a mentor to me as I grew up and always a friend. After her stroke we still shared her smiles, laughter at jokes, walks around the neighborhood, drives in the country and watching movies, she was an inspiration for never giving up and living each day, Enjoy your new life, Dianne. Know you are sent surrounded with love. Embrace your freedom! Forever loved and remembered.

I had been a caregiver for Dianne for over eight years. Although she could no longer talk, she could convey her wants and needs eloquently. She had been an active Nurse in Navy life and in private life. She especially liked to work with children. Dianne had five grandchildren. She loved and cherished all and enjoyed receiving cards and seeing their photos. At one time, she was an avid reader and spent hours working puzzles. Dianne will be deeply missed by all her relatives, and friends. Bon voyage, dear one. You are now freed from the physical burdens which weighed so heavily upon your body and soul
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
