Mrs. Dolores J. Hannigan, 84, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Berlin, New Jersey, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at TideWell Hospice & Palliative Care House in Venice, Florida.
Dolores was born June 5, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Liberato and Maria Pasquale Panaccio. A resident of North Port since September 2007 and member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte, Dolores, a retired department store clerk, was a loving mother, grand and great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be missed by family and friends alike.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Carol E. (husband – Wayne) Hayman of North Port, FL, and Barbara Monastra of Westbury, NY; 5 grandchildren, Dawn Marie and Wayne Hayman, Jr., Steven Catalano, and Julio and Amelia Monastra-Gonzalez; one great-grandchild, Alyssa Sophia Hayman; two sisters, Elizabeth Celli and Theresa Panaccio, both of Robbinsville, NJ; one brother, Vito Panaccio of Alpharetta, GA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Rita, Mary and Emma, and her husband, Arthur Hannigan.
