Dominick E. Mincieli, Jr., 49, of Punta Gorda, Florida died peacefully Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Dominick was born on January 24, 1976, in Forest Hills, New York. He moved to Punta Gorda in 2003 with his family. Working to provide for his family, as well as coaching baseball to the next generation, impacting countless numbers of lives both on and off the field.
Dominick was a devoted husband, father and friend to all around him. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Sharon Lynn Mincieli of Punta Gorda, a daughter, Alyssa Mincieli of Punta Gorda; a son, Justin Mincieli of Punta Gorda; mother, Linda B. Mincieli of Bethpage, NY; sister, Michelle Marino of Bethpage, NY; and a brother, Nicola Mincieli of Ponte Verde, FL.
Anyone who met Dominick knows how selfless he was. Dom was always willing to do anything, for anyone. Always finding humor and light in any situation, just to make everyone’s day around him. Dom taught many of those close to him what courage was, not through words but through his actions. His selflessness, thoughtfulness, and courage will remain as a light guiding all those who his memory has touched.
