Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences to the Fiorito’s and Smith families during this time of mourning and loss. When I heard of Donna’s passing, I was so saddened and remain heartbroken. The tears continue to flow as I think about a life taken much too soon. In the 1980’s Donna became my 2nd mom, literally! Her daughters were my best friends for many many years ! She made us laugh with her quick witted humor and she always did all the fun things that us girls were doing. I’ll always remember her for how much she made me laugh!! I have listened to Sinead O’Connor “Nothing Compares to You “, several times already in her honor because she would sing it in the car and make silly faces when she hit the high notes. 🤣. When I moved to Florida as a younger girl during a bad divorce of my parents, I remained in contact with Angie, Gina and Donna. I’d move back and forth from Florida to PA for several years and throughout it all, we kept in touch. I was so delighted when they decided to move just 25 minutes away from me in Punta Gorda. It was wonderful! As the years went on, time grew on, and we became adults with our own lives and although we had distance between us, we’ve been able to keep in touch via social media during the past couple decades. For that, I am forever grateful to have kept all 3 ladies in my life since the 1980’s. That is truly a rare gift! I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to have just one last conversation with Donna about 2 months ago on Facebook. She will be missed tremendously and I will forever cherish the memories that us 4 girls made together. Rest in eternal peace Donna! I love you!
