She was born October 22, 1917 in North Adams, Massachusetts and moved to Port Charlotte in 1993. Mrs. Wackerbarth was a retired public school librarian in Springfield,Mass. for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Port Charlotte and a former member of the University Club of Port Charlotte.
