Dorothy was born on May 23, 1919 in the Bronx, New York. She lived in City Island, New York until 1975 when she and her husband Robert relocated to Punta Gorda.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved son, Robert C. May of Mt. Vernon, New York, and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert B. May, and a sister Gertrude.
