Fr Nicholas McLoughlin left a message on December 16, 2023:
Girls and Joe, my deepest sympathy on the death of your dad after a long and successful medical career and commitment to his late wife Anne and to his children. You are an exceptional family because you had two exceptional parents, both of whom, were committed to each other, to thei children and to their Church. I will remember dad at Mass on Saturday morning. I remember the girls with great respect and fondness from the years they served as night time secretaries in the office at St Charles Borromeo Parish. I remember Joe as a very welcome boy to a family with three exceptional girls. May God bless and console you at the loss of your dad.
