Dr. Robert Kenneth Brotman, 90 of Port Charlotte, Florida died peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2021at Tidewell Englewood Hospice House in Port Charlotte.
Dr. Brotman was born March 13, 1931 to the late Harry and Edythe (Sternbach) Brotman in Newark, New Jersey. He was a retired Medical Doctor specializing in Psychiatry. He moved to Port Charlotte in 1995 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Robert was proud of his children and their accomplishments above all else. He enjoyed photography, baseball, music of all types, model airplanes and trains, and woodworking.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Virginia R. Williamson of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Donna (Scott) Weaver of Galveston, TX and Janice (Rob) Goldberg of Brooklyn, NY; six sons, Stephen Brotman of Atlanta, GA, Aaron Brotman of San Diego, CA, Andrew (Andrea) Brotman of Carlsbad, CA, Daniel Brotman, Glendale, CA, David (Lauren) Brotman of Coatesville, PA and Benjamin (Carrie) Brotman of Itacha, NY; a sister, Marily Glikin of New Jersey; 2 nephews, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
