Earl R. Riley, 89, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Friday, November 24, 2006 at his residence.
He was born April 26, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Port Charlotte 27 years ago from Detroit. He was a retired quality control manager in the aircraft machine parts industry. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross of Punta Gorda, member of the Charlotte County Woodcarvers Club and a veteran of World War II, U.S. Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Helen J. Riley of Port Charlotte; a sister, Beverly Riley of Pompano Beach, FL; and 4 nieces, Beverly Baxter of Clinton Township, MI, Helen Moore of Livonia, MI, Linda Randall of Brighton, MI and Karen Provenzano of Novi, MI.
