Edward was born October 26, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Sophie Bogacki and moved to Lake Suzy in 1996 from there. He was a Korean War Veteran who served proudly for the U.S. Army. Edward was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church. He was a machinist for R.R. Donnelly in Chicago and retired from there after 33 years of service. Edward was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Helen M. Bogacki; a son, Edward R. (Kathy) Bogacki of Western Springs, IL; a daughter, Christine C. (Gary) Metrejean of Lafayette, LA; a brother, Raymond F. (Marilyn) Bogacki of Lake Suzy, FL; 5 grandchildren, Kimberly Kubil, Katelyn Bogacki, Richard (Jessica), Ryan, and Jake Kubil; 4 great-grandchildren, Maggie, Frankie, Ricky and MacKenzy Kubil; 2 nephews, Raymond E. (Christine) Bogacki and Craig M. (Dawn) Sylvester and 1 niece, Susan M. (Michael) Miller.
