Continue ReadingMrs. Elaine A. Trott, 82, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010. She was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Fillmore, New York. She was a resident of Florida since the 1960s. Mrs. Trott was a secretary for the Miami-Dade Police Department. She also worked as a legal secretary for the Farr Law Firm and then Senior Services before retiring in 1993. She was a member of the American Legion Post 103 Auxiliary and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1693, both of Punta Gorda.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Chester; sons, Joe (Jennifer) Trott of Port Charlotte; and Geoff (Chrissy) Trott of Punta Gorda; daughters, Doris (Butch) Dibble of Riverview; and Kathy Hall of Cape Coral; three brothers, Wells (Allene), Keith (Grace), & Paul (Marie) Knibloe all of New York; 14 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
