Eleanor C. Nowacki, 93, of Punta Gorda, FL a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother on passed away April 15th, 2013 at her daughter’s home in Rotonda, FL. She was born in Chicago, IL June 15, 1919 at home from parents Anne and John Gluszek. She married Carl Nowacki, a career Navy man. Her final years in Florida were spent nourishing others with her wonderful home cooked meals. The Greatest Generation” has lost another member.
She is survived by daughters Carol (David) Hollomon of Rotonda West, FL., Karen (Bill) Pharis of Van Buren, Arkansas, and niece Arlene Tackett of Florence, Kentucky. She will be missed by them as well as six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, her sister Irene, and parents. .

A private service will be held at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
