Eleonore Gelin, 66, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at
Peace River Nursing & Rehab Center, Port Charlotte.

She was born July 20, 1940 in Haiti and moved to Port Charlotte 11 years ago
From New York, NY. She was a retired certified nursing assistant. Mrs. Gelin was
a member of the Eben-Ezer Haitian Baptist Church of Port Charlotte where she was
President of the Women’s Mission.

Survived by her loving family, two sons, Thierry Gelin of Bellmore, NY and
Lesly Gelin of Frisco, TX; a daughter, Sharla Gelin of Port Charlotte; two sisters,
Martha Baptiste of Haiti and Phoebe Baptiste of Waltham, MA; three brothers,
Gary Baptiste of Islip, NY, Jean Paul Baptiste of Brooklyn, NY and Lucien Baptiste of
Jersey City, NJ; her former husband, Arnold Gelin of Brooklyn, NY; 11 Grandchildren;
