Elfreda Lewis-Nisbeth, 95, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
Elfreda was born to Naman and Adina Lewis on July 10, 1922 in Jamaica, West Indies. Elfreda was a wonderful and loving lady. She loved life to the fullest especially when she spends her time with her family and friends and especially her very best friend, Verona Hinds. She was a hard-working woman who provided everything that she could to help others. She will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her son, Osmond Nisbeth of Bronx, NY; 2 daughters, Meloney Nisbeth and Elizabeth (Dalton) Pringle both of Port Charlotte; 9 grandchildren, Hanif, Kareem, Greg, Kevin, Sutana, Stacy Ann, Rachel, Meloney and Yanique and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mortimer and her son, Linden.
Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, May 4, 2018 at Robeson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the funeral home with a burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
