She was born July 9, 1928 in Central Elia Camaguey, Cuba and moved to Port Charlotte in 1987 from Queens, New York. Enid was a retired hotel room attendant. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother; who will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Enid is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Eric S. Cooke of Port Charlotte; a son, Carrell Simpson of Port Charlotte; a brother, Lenny McFarlene of Jamaica; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
