He was born September 10, 1954 in the Philippine Islands and moved to Port
Charlotte 17 years ago from Massachusetts. He worked for the Charlotte Country
Tax Collector’s Office and was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church of Port Charlotte.
Member of the Converse Lodge A.F. & AM and the Scottish Rite Consistory
of Boston, Massachuestts.
Survived by his loving family and wife, Maria L. Mari of Port Charlotte; two sons, Jonathan and Christopher Mari of Port Charlotte; his mother, Lerida Sanchez Mari of the Philippine Islands; 1 sister and 5 brothers.

I have known Eric since he first started working for the tax collector's office. His son Jonathan was in the same Boy Scout Troop as my son and we would always talk about how are children were doing. You could see that special gleam in his eyes when we would talk, he was so very proud of both Jonathan & Christopher. I will miss our special talks and his cheerful voice when he would deliver the mail. My deepest sympathy to the whole family. Eric had touched many people in is life and I am truly blessed to be one.
